I have been wanting the smoked recon cab lights for my truck but have been hesitant because I am not sure they will fit the look of my truck. Within the next couple years, I will add a ram air hood, fender flares, wheels and tires, maybe a bullbar, and some form of custom paint whether it be racing stripes or a two tone paint. What do you guys think about the cab lights?

 

cab lights are great on lifted off road rigs, but with racing strips, not really.

 

I think cab lights look good on any lifted truck...

 

i had racing stripes on my truck when it was lifted...

 

i agree with pyro. roof lights WITH racing stripes might be a bit weird. either you're going for the "big heavy" look, or the sporty look. roof lights make the truck seem bigger and bossier, while the racing stripes make it look faster and sportier. i'm getting cab roof lights myself, but i'll either go with a two tone paint, or just a blacked out roof like the cars that have tinted glass ceilings. but if you're going with fender flares, bigger tires, a bull bar, etc then cab roof lights will be perfect. its the racing stripes that just wont fit with that look. just my opinion...

 

i said no, i think the way you want to take your truck it wont look that great. kinda combining styles with race looking (stripes and the hood), with the look of a lifted truck. but you always add them down the line if things change with your truck

cab lights with two-tone paint- yes

 

I voted no, its not that I think they would look bad, but as you truck sits now adding them would make them look out of place. If it were me, I would wait til you get all the other things you want on the truck and done to it and then take a look and see if you really want to install the cab lights or not.
