Default Lazy truck

Hi my truck is 2 years old in 2 weeks and it has changed soo much. When i first got it, it had so much power at lower rpms. It would push you in the chair when accelerating. Also when i fill up iit used to say that i can drive 450 kms to empty. Now it's got 36000kms and alot of the power is gone and i need to go up to 4500 -5000 rpm to feel the tru power and when i fill up it never shows more then 400 km to empty. I am just wondering if i can do something to get some power back. I only have a k&n air filter in it. I want to put some performace spark plugs in it would that help? thx

99 cent spark plugs work just as well as $5 plugs. Platinum don't work better, only longer lasting.

Try resetting the computer, clearing out the 'learned' maps might help.

rtfm? [:-]

If you're talking about the fill plugs on the diff cover, then the oil should be up to the bottom level of the hole. I'm not sure what you should run in your diff, consult your owner's manual. I'd think it would be a 75w90 gear oil, perhaps something thicker if you live in a hot climate or abuse it.

Just unhook the battery...your radio stations will stay the same...not sure about the clock though. You might try having a "throttle body service" done at your dealer. What they do is pull the throttle body off, inspect the intake manifold, they clean the throttle body with a type of chemical that plays hell on carbon and on shoe soles (been there)...but it wont hurt the throttle body. You might also look into an induction service as well...that'll help clean the crud outta the intake and off the valves and pistons. Good luck.
