Default 3825 or 3865?

I'm buying a second hand superchip for my 08 ram 1500 hemi and it's model number is 3825.

He says that 3825 is the same as 3865 because they just changed the model numbers.
Is that true?
Because superchips.com says I need 3865, and it's just confusing, lol.

Thanks.

Did u see this on ebay? I came across this too and thought I was going to get a hell of a deal on a used 3685. it's misleading because it says it just replaces the 3815 and 3825 numbers and is now called the 3865. Not true, its a different tuner. As said above, ONLY the 3865 will support the new trans features which are what everyone has been waiting for.

The 3825 is for Dodge cars, I don't remember which one's but it is not for our trucks.
