I have a 2004 4.7L ram and was thinking of upgrading the intake manifold to possibly squeeze out a couple more ponies. I was looking up part numbers etc and saw that the 2006-2008 intake manifold are the same item. I thought they redesigned the intake manifold for 2008 for the new 310 hp 4.7l engine. One would think 2008 would have its own part number because thats when the new design came out, however, all I can find is 06-08 manifold part numbers. Just need some advice here, is it even worth the hassel as far as squeezing some hp and tq gains from the engine? Any parts guy here that can validate my guess here?

Jeep site, but list manufacturers part numbers for 4.7 HO intake manifolds like found on my 4.7 HO Grand Cherokee Overland...
