Default Leveling Kit questions

I know this has been brought up multiple times, i did search the forum and was unsuccessful in finding the answer to my question.

I have a 2002 dodge ram 1500 2WD Single Cab Short bed

Im wanting to get a leveling lift for the front....... I have been looking into the 2.5" from daystar, i called my local off-road shop to get a qoute and they said they only make the 1.5" for my truck and i looked on the internet and found the same results on the Daystar website?

I am interested in finding out if anyone has a 2.5" on the same truck as mine and if there were any issues with the control arms hitting ( the guy at the shop said that if i went bigger than a 1.5" i would need new control arms?)

Any and all advise and or help is welcome

Thank you

1.5 is all you are going to get with a 2wd sorry. 4ed trucks sit higher stock than the 2wd.

I have a link at work for a 2.5 and they are about 80 bux. Lemme know if you want it. It seems so difficult to find things for a 2wd v/s a 4wd. :-(

I have a 2" front level from Fat Bob's with the longer Fabtech shocks.

The passenger side did have a bump with the arm hitting the top of the shock bucket when going over bumps. Not sure what happened but now after about 1000 miles or so, I hardly hear it make any sound now. And that 2" lift actually got me about 3.5".

check out California Super Trucks website... its CSTsuspension.com

They make 3" lifts up to a 7.5" for 1500s, and 6.5" for 2500/3500 2wd trucks..

Im currently running their 3" coil spacer and their 3" rear block( i just wanted the lift).

It did hit the top of the control arm on the coil bucket for the first 2 or 3 weeks, but it stopped after that..

And yes, searching for lifts for a 3rd gen 2wd Dodge sucks!!!!
