Exhaust

x2 always. i took my truck to have a resonator added to the system because the AT3030 is ju too loud without cats. the guy cut the AT off and just welded the res on. then he asked me what i wanted to do with my old muffler. i told him put it back on after the res and dump the AT like i wanted. 40.00 later(including price of res) and my truck sounds awesome. he was a little upset about having to redo his job but that is what they are paid for.

Well, if you want to count the mufflers that have physically been welded into the truck, it's at 3: flowmaster super 44, flowmaster 50 HD, stock muffler. Now on to four with the magnaflow muffler. For total mufflers purchased and some returned and some installed, it's at 5, not including the exhaust cut-out. I just love exhaust though, and it has to be right. The exhaust on a truck really captivates the ride of your vehicle, it goes everywhere with you, so it has to be the right balance for me. I'm hoping the magnaflow will offer a little more bark than the stock muffler, but won't be overbearing in the cab on long trips...I guess I'll find out lol.

Just wanted to get you guys' opinions on a set of exhaust tips I'm looking at buying for my truck. I had originally bought a set of 3.5"x18" tips from 21stcenturyexhaust, but the diameter looks too small for my taste. Since I'm having a magnaflow muffler put on the truck, I was thinking about getting the magnaflow tips as well. Do you think these will look nice going out underneath the bumper??
