Well although it's 22" long, it's supposed to be quieter because it has a wider body. I believe Lxman1 has the 5x8x24, where I have the 5x11x22. The guy at 21stcenturyexhaust said the wider body might help with cutting down the drone on the highway, but not really sure how this is going to play out. I remember when I ran a 5x8x18 on my 2nd generation Ram and being very disappointed, but this truck is just a lot different. For one, it's a lot more of a performance orientated motor, so it actually sounds nice having a quiet muffler since the motor sounds damn good as is, plus it helps that I have an exhaust cut-out, so if I want to kick it up a notch to get some attention it won't be a problem. I'm just happy to get a nice looking muffler underneath the truck that will be letting my hemi breathe, and I can't wait to get them tips routed underneath the bumper

Today was the big day and had the magnaflow exhaust put in. At the end of the day, I had a 5x11x22 magnaflow muffler installed routed out underneath the bumper with 4"x18" stainless steel rolled edge magnaflow tips. I just think it looks so much better now, has a really clean and defined look, and doesn't disrupt the flow of the sporty contour of the truck. I lucked out with this muffler because it sounds perfect for my needs. It is just slighter louder than what the stock muffler sounded like, only I feel at rest knowing it's going through a performance muffler, and not the ugly California emissions looking muffler lol.

Here are some really crappy quality cellphone pictures, I'll take some pictures with the digital camera when I get a chance and perhaps a couple videos.

So are you finally happy with the look and sound of your truck???? No more exhaust threads for a while unless you decide to dive into headers alright???

By the way it looks much better than it did before, everything is tucked nicely this time around.

No, looks like mine, but mine is a 2wd.
I agree, I like the dual out the rear better as well. I need to get a better video of mine now that it has broken in.

Thanks guys, I appreciate it. And yes, I am happy it with it this time. The looks alone do me well. The first time around I had a problem with mufflers because I had high expectations for the sound, but after hearing how relatively quiet the Super 44 was, it kind of changed things for me. Then after trying out the 50 HD and being happy with the nice tone but sad about the similar drone of the 44, I had to find something that was going to flow great, but be comparable to the stock muffler, and this magnaflow muffler seems to do the trick. If I didn't have the exhaust cutout, then yes, I would be sad about this muffler too, but I just consider the magnaflow muffler a little treat, and I leave the cutout for waking up the neighbors lol. Although out the back is done very often, I guess I don't really care. I'd rather it look clean and not make attention in a negative way like the other system did. Besides, exhaust is only one thing to a truck, I would hope people were checking out the beautiful rig if anything..

Now as for headers, I love them, and I had them on my other truck. But, now that I have a warranty with this truck, what are my options. When I spoke to the guy over the phone, he told me they didn't mind backing up a cat back exhaust and a cold air intake kit, but he said they weren't big on headers. This kind of sucks because I'd love to buy a set of longtube headers that dump into my magnaflow y-pipe and into some high flowing magnaflow catalytic converters...
