It can work for wheels. It can also work for bumpers and other things if the trucks not black. Otherwise I think it will look mismatched with all the metal flake in the paint on the new black.

Wow, lots of great responses! Thanks to everyone that contributed. I will look into the VHT tomorrow! Off Road, youre truck is the look im goin for. Lot of guys with badass trucks in this thread. Two follow up questions: 1)Whats the best way to remove and reattach the badges? 2) I dont want the headlight lenses to be black just the chrome on the inside. So, should I just buy new ones? Again, thanks for all the great replies. This forum is alot friendlier than the BMW forums I belong to.

a couple of us are using metrodecals smoked vinyl on our tails and it works great then a the rest are hving them painted or using vht nightshades and spraying em....
