Default TERRIBLE weekend!!!!!

first i tried to tint my own windows, spent $60 on everything, got 3 done and they didnt look up to my standards so i ripped it all off and call the pros, have an appointment thursday.

then i drove 200 miles to day (round trip) to pick up some underdrive pulleys for my 5.9! great deal too.
well they wont work.

apparently they changed the harmonic balancer setup on the 02 and 03 models.
so would putting an old balancer from a 94-01 work at all?
or should i sell them and say screw it? im about to give up on modding all together!!!

hmm. I don't have a clue about pulleys but how much do you think you would gain from them? I'm planning an electric fan and throttle body first. Changing the harmonic balancer after just reading what would happen if it wasn't there scares me. lol. do 1.7's!!!! i hope to eventually...........

No kidding just ask silverbullet...

As for the OP, I learned the hard way as well that sometimes, although it is more expensive, it is better to go with new parts that are made for your truck, otherwise you just get your hopes up.
