hey guy . i have a 02 dodge qc 4x4 and i was driving home the other day and all of a sudden it was as if i was in nuetral even though the shifter was in D.. then i pulled over and took off again and could only get it up too 2nd gear it would shutteras if it wanted to shift , then just rev.. but drivers fine if put into 1 or 2 .. would it be a tranny moduel or the tranny it self .. i reset everthing back to stock but still does it .. only got 80k miles on it.. any help would be apreciated thanks!

 

Have you checked the obvious; trans fluid level?

 

sounds like you blew the top end gears, better than blowing the low ends, then you got to drive at 5 miles an hour for 3 hours to get back to the shop.
