Default Advice for 2.5" Leveling Kit

Jus got me the 2.5" levelin kit for my 08 TRX4, that I'm plannin on puttin this weekend, any suggestions, problems or advice would be greatly appreciated.

And yeas I know my way around shop tools, I been buildin and tearin s**t apart since I was 10! lol

well, your gonna love the new look, but, your going to experience some "clunking" noises whenever you hit bumps..its going to be due to your control armm hitting you shock buckets...at least thats what mine does, but the new look of the truck is well worth it.

if it's a 4x4 then you shouldn't hear the clunking noises. i have a 2.5" on mine for amost a year and have never heard any noises or had any problems. but the hardest thing i ran into was removing the shocks so i could get the spacer put in.

get a buddy to help with the install. makes it soo much easier. its pretty easy to do and shouldnt take too long. probably an hour or so for teh first side and even less time for the other once you know what your doing.

is it a sit on top of strut steel spacer or does it sit on top of the spring but under the tower plate? cause when i say easy i am talking about the steel spacer that sits on top of the tower...

Hey there, did you have any problems with this lift since you last posted? Rough Country has the same kit on sale, and I was about to order it, but I heard mixed opinions on leveling kits, how did it work out? Thanks!

hey bros,i have a 2008,std cab 4x4,me and my friend did the lift in one hour,he did one side and i did the other,man works great and looks like a i lifted it,you wont regret it levels the truck even,i got mine from 4wheel part, very inexpensive.good luck.....mike.........

Yeah? I can tell by buddy's picture that it makes a huge difference. I hate the huge rake the stock height gives.
