Default rear diff question

If I swap out my rear end from my 3.55s to 3.92s will I get better fuel mileage? or will I just be able to tow a little but more?

btw I have a 2004 Ram 1500 QC 4.7L 4spd auto 17 inch tires

Wouldn't be worth the time or money just going to 3.92's....go 4.10's or 4.56's. The best way to get better mileage is driving habits (lower speed, steady throttle, slower acceleration) and maintenance.

But why go to 456 if your not going to run 35+" tires?
