i forgot to say in the previous post...rental car is covered for 5 days under the warranty i have, I pay $100 deductible to cover everything:repairs, parts, rental car, etc.

 

replaced mine yesterday, no problem. Thanks for the advice Dog.

i checked my diff fluid, it was a few ounces low as i figured. topped it off to hold me over. Got my amsoil 75-140 synthetic diff fluid already, cant wait to get it back so i can change the diff fluids

 

If you have a factory LSD, I'd have them check the clips while they have it, just to be safe.

 

im pissed, because i couldn't get a service advisor or anyone to tell me if they are gonna drop the cover to change the seal. hope so, that way they can inspect the whole diff. inside the pumpkin. if not, i'll drop it myself in my own shop.
