You do have 2 filters on the tranny, there are 2 different styles also one for 2wd and one for 4wd.

One is a large flat pancake type filter. This filter does, as has previously been stated, come in two types. One for 4wd the other 2wd, so be careful which one you get.
The other filter is the "spin on" type, like your engine oil filter.

Yep, I was going to also say it looks just like an oil filter. Can miss it. However, to change the o-ring for the flat filter you will need a mechanics pick set (4pc for about $10) to reach up inside and pull the ring seal out.
