do you run a relay for the lights ?? if so figure out the amps then double it up to figure out if the relay can handle it or not..

Well a normal SPDT relay is 30/40 amps depending on what side of the contacts you use. I would think the 1st set oh Hellas plus the second could be handled off one relay. But the question is would you need to upgrade your wiring to handle the amp draw and not melt the insulation off of it causing a fire.

i think the hella's are 55watts so that would be 420 watts .
the relay is a 40amp

Long story short...You cannot just tap into your existing wires. You will cause a short and melt stuff. You will need to beef up your relay to a 50/60amp. and then double up your power and ground wires if you want to run off a single switch/relay. You could just double up the relays and use your current switch. You just tap off your switch line and run new power/ground for the new lights/relay basically everything again, but one switch.

If i were you, i would keep the lights on the bar at 55w. I would take the wiring you already have and use it for the bull bar lights. Run entirely new wiring following my link in my sig and put in 100w or 130w bulbs and use a separate switch. this way you can have the option of 55w or 100/130w lights.
The 55w bulbs lasted less than a day in my truck. I couldn't tell if they were on or not during the day and they are not that much brighter than when i had my highbeams on.
So i installed 100w bulbs and they shine up on a wall in the middle of the day.
The 55w'ers give the flexibility to not have blinding lights if you are using them for other things.
So 55watters pointing 10* down to the ground and 130w pointing straight ahead. Just my thoughts on your situation

A Useful bit of math, part of Kirchoff's law. Watts divided by volts=amp draw. Size all your wiring etc to handle the amperage.
