Count me in then. I ain't been IN Texas going on 3 years now. I don't even want to think about how long it would take to drive there (much less the fuel, currently stationed in NY...).

There used to be a track here called hot rod hill. But,the new housing project next to it complained enough and they shut it down.they said it was to loud.I think there is still a track down in navasota.its about 1/2 hour from my house.I don't know if its still there,I'll have to ask a buddy of mine that i think still goes there.oh,yeah there's alway the soggy bottom off road park for all you 4x4 guys

There is Texas World Speedway on Hwy. 6 So. between College Station and Navasota; it has been used in the past (not sure how long???) by the SCCA, other car club marques and even testing for Indy 500 cars by private teams in the long ago past. I've seen Vipers run there back when they first came out in the early 90's. IF??? this track is even available anymore the organizers of this (TRC) club might want to get together with the directors of the HTC - hemitruckclub.com and any other interested parties for a large combined GTG at this track. It would probably take a LOT of participation because the track would have to be rented out for the time needed and the cost would need to be spread over a number of attendees to make it affordable $$$.
