Lowered Trucks: tech and info....
The mcgaughy kit is a 2/4.5" drop right? Looking at the ad, it looks like it comes with both the drop shackels and a flip kit, is that right?
For the price I think I'd rather do that rout instead. azskater - did you get your kit from that street pro's site?
Kit Includes:
Front Coil Springs
Rear Flip Kit
Rear Shackles
Rear Shock Extenders
Rear Bump Stops

yes i did that same kit came with everything needed and very fast shiping when it went out got it in 2 days and they gave me the tracking # right away great guys to order from, very easy to install took me a little longer due to i was by myself when i put it on but it is a wonderful kit imo! let me know if you have any other ?'s
So your truck sits pretty much level then or does the bed sit a little lower with the 4.5 drop?
Also, I know on certain kits you can raise the rear a little to give it a slight rake, can you do that with this kit? Having it level is nice and all but I would like to have mine with a slight rake to it.
By the time all is said and done this is how I want it to look (which I believe is the 2/4 drop since the SRT-10 has the rear flip kit)

yes my truck sits pretty level but on the rear shackles that come in the kit there are to adjustment holes that the leaf pack will bolt in a upper and lower i have mine in the upper so i avoid the rake i personally cant stand the rake but if that is what you like it will still comply with what you want as-well buy simply just bolting in the lower hole!
I have a question AZskater, Should I replace my shocks before or after the drop. Or will it be ok with stock. I assume that I would need to remove my running boards ?
Well more than one question Thanks in Advance.
