The mcgaughy kit is a 2/4.5" drop right? Looking at the ad, it looks like it comes with both the drop shackels and a flip kit, is that right?

Kit Includes:

Front Coil Springs
Rear Flip Kit
Rear Shackles
Rear Shock Extenders
Rear Bump Stops

Vehicle Applications:
2002 - 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 Std Cab 2WD
For the price I think I'd rather do that rout instead. azskater - did you get your kit from that street pro's site?

So your truck sits pretty much level then or does the bed sit a little lower with the 4.5 drop?

Also, I know on certain kits you can raise the rear a little to give it a slight rake, can you do that with this kit? Having it level is nice and all but I would like to have mine with a slight rake to it.

By the time all is said and done this is how I want it to look (which I believe is the 2/4 drop since the SRT-10 has the rear flip kit)

yes my truck sits pretty level but on the rear shackles that come in the kit there are to adjustment holes that the leaf pack will bolt in a upper and lower i have mine in the upper so i avoid the rake i personally cant stand the rake but if that is what you like it will still comply with what you want as-well buy simply just bolting in the lower hole!

I have a question AZskater, Should I replace my shocks before or after the drop. Or will it be ok with stock. I assume that I would need to remove my running boards ?

Well more than one question Thanks in Advance.

okay well to start off im still running my stock shocks front and rear im waiting for a few extra bucks to order belltechs but u will be fine running your stocks as long as u use the shock extenders for the rear and after the drop not before the rears will be to short at stock height!
and no i wouldnt thing you would need to remove your running boards but imo it would look better with out them just my .02

and jay it really is not a bad deal they are very honest and nice guys they were the ones i ordered my roll pan though but it didnt come from them it came from there warehouse somewhere else cause they were on back order and if you remember it had a little ding in it when i got it and i told them and they sent me a new one out the same day overnight and gave me a killer price on the lowering kit great people will recommend them!
