Lowered Trucks: tech and info....
SITREP: My parts company screwed up my order and now I have to go through the send-stuff-back-and-they'll-send-the-other-parts circus. I bought new upper control arms and they are somewhat rough-cast steel which I guess I'll have to clean up. I have the new lower ball joints which I'll install during the drop. Gathering the parts alone has turned into a three week effort :/
aah i see. did you get spindles or drop springs? what size tires are you gonna be runnin? in the "for what is worth" category i just bought a brand new set of 295/45/20 Toyo Proxes for $614 shipped. they are the same size ive been using. jay, you thinkin about blackin out those rims or keepin em chrome?
plasti dip till i buy 22"s then the 22" will be black that i buy with tires for a package deal, that will just about clear up the "appearance" mods...lil stuff here or there...
Sorry if this horse has been beat to death, but I just did a spring under on my 03 1500. I have the super shox and the thing is bouncing like crazy! What gives.... I took the overload spring out and all, anyone else solve this problem yet?
