With that said I'm lowered 2/4.5 on 24's and low pros and I haul lumber, home remodeling stuff, and a 16ft trailer with a 4,000-5,000lb truck on it a lot. Unless you're 4/6 you'll be fine hauling whatever.

Rams need a flip kit, blocks will raise it u, leafs on bottom on them. Normally if you cut a half wrap you get an inch. If you want 3in it should be a 1.5 wraps of coil. Others may know more about this but that's usually how it goes.

My bad, I thought you had a Ram. You're in Ram tech forums man lol. Now that Dakota disregard everything I said. Now for a full wrap you should obtain about a 2in drop. If you go over 2in block on the rear get some angle cut block to correct the axle. Remember to chain the coils in while removing them!

The previous owner told me it was really easy to adjust the shackle position and i could do it with as little as 2 jacks, a wrench and a socket. I know messing with springs can be really dangerous so i don't want to go at it without any idea of how to do it. can anyone do a quick write up for me please? or at least tell me where is the best place to put the jacks/jack stands?

Thanks.
adjusting shackles is easy, no harm involved, jack the truck up a little at a time using a jack on the hitch, watch your shackles when they look like they have the load off, remove nuts and bolts, then jack higher to desired hole replace bolts and nuts...drop truck and go...real easy...

Well I guess you heard this question often, but maybe you can help me.
Third Generation 1500 Ram Single Cab 4x4.
What you would have to pay for an airbag suspension?
How many inches are between the lowest and highest position?
Idea is not that bad, if you wanna park you lay the truck nearly on the ground, and while driving you pump it up. Dont know what you could get out of these airbag supensions though.

Well layin on the ground is a bit rough. at a certain point you would have to make cutouts for the backwheels.
lets say I want the ram to go down by circa 7-8 inches if possible - mainly for parking. is it possible to drive this low without working on the wheel arches and stuff?
