well some vehicles you gotta crawl over.... if you go over at a diagonal it will work but some rides just scrape.....im not even that low im pretty stock height just have the drop shackles and im fine but i crawl over em anyway.....others have either hydraulics or airbags if they are that low.....

How do yall go over speed bumps? or do you have to find another route without them?
I go over about 10 a day and was just curious.

you go over them like a pimp.. really like jay said diagonal or just avoid them. i have a buddy with a slammed s-10 and he goes diag about 2 mph. silly i know but the truck is still bad ***. how do lifted trucks go through the drive thru? its all relative

So has anyone had to get their spring plates welded to their axels? Mine are sqeaking and Belltech recommended that to me.

I guess I never thought about that, if its on airbags to get it that low then obviously you can just lift it back up to higher ....dumb *** moment.

Haha like a pimp! But I gotcha. Have yall seen that video of that dodge towing the fifth wheel that pulls down that roof a bank drive thru? Talk about not knowing how to drive a big truck...

sup all,

I just finished my truck this weekend and will post some pics tomorrow. I have not been on in a while so had to read the past threads...saw there were some questions about a 4/6 drop and C-notching. I originally put a Mcgaughey's 2/4.5 drop kit (coils up front) with belltech nitro drop 2's. I left the stock shackles on/welded the perches on the axle...I like the way the rear sat so I ordered 2" drop spindles from Mcgaughey's, I now have a 4/6 drop and no C-notch. I had to learn how to drive the truck again, I learned were all the pot holes are...lol. I do crawl over speed bumps but it's not because of th e frame hitting. the ride is great 110% better...no body roll when taking corners.

Default Shock ???

OK now we have these trucks lowered and will eventually need new shocks, how do we get shocks to fit our application? I think I have one making noise right now. Its just too cold to take them off and check. And what shock does a good job?
