Couple questions, 1 a little stupid
I used these parts numbers and ordered the parts from my local dealership. They should be here tomorrow. Once I get them in hand, I will use them to replace the old ones, then report back on how everything goes.
Hey, just replying again to let anyone who is interested know that replacing those two hoses cleared the CEL right up. Swapped the new ones for the old ones, and about a day later my CEL cleared itself.
I don't have the receipt near me right now, but using the part numbers provided in this thread, the two hoses after tax came to just under 15 dollars total. Not too bad at all, considering that since the truck is already six years old, hopefully I will never have to replace them again.
Yes I did find it. Turns out it is one of those parts that Dodge doesn't think you should ever worry about replacing, so most parts stores don't even have it in their system at all. After digging around online, I found that if you are standing in front of the truck looking at the back, it will be on the left side of the motor under the HEMI hat thing. You have to remove that to get to the valve, and then the valve itself just twists out, almost like removing an oil or gas cap. The part seems to run around 30 bucks online.
