Question hard to start hot

I've been a dodge man all my life. Bought a lightly used 2006 5.7 1500 about 2 months ago, nice truck. Problem started as soon as it warmed up outside. Starts fine in the morning or in cool weather. If its hot outside it's a pain to start. No error codes, dealer installed new software for the fix, still does it! Anyone relate, or am I the only lucky one?

Does it turn over when it's hard to start when hot? If not i'm thinking stuck/bad starter solenoid...replace it or wrap it.

I'm having somewhat the same problem. When its hot outside, i mean hot, and im driving around for awhile, once i stop and turn it off, and then turn it back on, it takes about a try or two. Are you having the same problem?

If it cranks over fine, it could be a weak fuel pump causing a bit of vapor lock.

Thumbs down hard start when hot

it turns over fine, I have to hold the pedal down to get it to start. Seems like its not getting fuel, vapor lock. I'm gonna try the fuel filter thing. My dad said there is a stone type filter before the injectors that might be clogged. It did sit for a while before I bought it. I wish they made 'em like they used to... do-it ur self!
