Default Mega Cab gas mileage

Folks,
I have a 2007 1500 Mega Cab with 14000 miles. I drive 25 highway miles to and from work and get an average of 13 mpg. When I tow the toys I get about 8.5 mpg. I put an exhaust on it when I first got the truck other than that it is bone stock. Could someone help me out with some ideas on how to get better gas mileage.
Thanks

CAI and a Programmer will probably help out the most. With your exhaust that will cover the basic three mods. You should see some gain in MPG, but don't expect huge results.

13 is good for a megacab....slow your speed down if you can and you'll see an improvement.

It means that you were in the wrong gen section. Yours is a 3rd generation Ram 02-08 1500 and 03-09 2500/3500.
