I had a RAM 3500 Dually Diesel for 15 years, I traded it in to purchase a 2003 RAM 1500 HEMI. Really like this truck so far.

The first thing I did was have a Kenwood DNX6140 installed, love the GPS unfortunately when they installed it they screwed up the bezel and to fix it they covered it in suede. Where can I get a stock replacement bezel? Also, I don't suppose they have a stock bezel without a cutout for the radio?

I have Dash Kits, but its not clear which is the right kit to purchase and if it will help solve my problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Well for the 02-05 (maybe 06 also) they dont make an OEM bezel to fit that radio. Now alot of us have made our own with a few common tools and supplies. I have dont my own. You can find replacement bezel for sale here on this board from time to time as well as Dodge Talk. Im sure you can find them on Ebay also. 06 has a navigation bezel. same as 07/08.

 

I don't know of any the don't have the radio cutout, but I replaced mine with the shiny SRT version, so I have a spare, or you can look on ebay. Just search for 'ram bezel'.

 

Thanks for the reply/advice. I took a look at the DIY link, the installer appears to have done a good job of modifying the bezel, I guess the only complaint is what he covered it with. Maybe an easier way to go would be to get some vinyl that matches my dash and recover the bezel.

Any thoughts on where I might get something that matches? Our local Dodge dealer is no more.

I sure wish the 07 navigation bezel would work in my 03...
