dadgum Frog! You don't go no where in the dark do ya bro! If the power goes out at your house you could just pull the rig up in front and open the blinds!
Heck, there's enough light for me AND my neighbors!
I have over a thousand watts of light on the front end now. 4@180w on the roof plus 2@100w behind the grill. And then I turn on the heads and fogs....
Since that rack is so far back, Im guessing that your roof keeps the glare off of the cab
In my yota, I had to tint the bottom half of the roof lights because they put a huge glare on the windshield...Besides your roof rack being 43' in the air I bet it is pretty useful
You're right. The rack is actually behind the cab, so nothing shines on the hood at all.
The rack is a little tall for daily use, but it's nice, when I want to put the dog in the back, to not have all my stuff getting slobbered on. All I have to do is stand on the tail gate and the rack is right there!

Bear - I think Frog is afraid of the dark and thats why his truck is lighting central -- but I know who I'm calling when I need some light to work on my truck at night now
Frog - plan on blinding someone soon? or have you already?
Very nice!!!
I had the same setup on a Jeep J10 pickup I had, picked up the light bar that mounted to the rain channels on the roof with four KC lights at a Garage sale of all places. Never installed and guy was asking $50 for the whole setup and I talked him down to $35 and made him wire it to a trolling motor battery to make sure all the lights worked. I loved it!
Of course this was in the mid 80's, I'm sure you'd not find that deal today, not even on ebay...
