Default NewB question can you run 315/75/16 on 06 1500 mega cab?

Hello Everyone
I have tried searching on here to see if I can run 315 75 16 on a stock 1500 mega cab. I was going to replace the 17 with 16 but didn't know if it will clear the calipers. The wheels that I was looking at was 16x9 with 4" bs.
The reason for that is I can get a set Hankook rt03 for a really good price.
Thanks

no they wont work. 17" is the smallest diameter rim you can fit on any 3rd gen ram.

17" is still a good size wheel. Great for towing and four wheeling. As far as 315 tire size, Im not sure on a Mega Cab. I know the MC sit a littlel higher. So I would say try it. You might be able to. I know 305's is a stuff on a regular 1500.

The 315 will work but it will scrub on the right side when truning right is maxed out. put a 2" leveling and no more scrubbage sometimes.

Doubt if his Mega has 16" wheels. Smallest is 17" to clear the calipers.
