5 inch lift
ya ill be running 35 inch mickey thompson mtz's. ive asked around and most people said if your gonna be offroading at all dont go more than a 6 inch with 35's. but i was actually thinkin maybe adding a body lift to the 5 inch later on, making for an 8.
ya man you dont even have to doa 5inch, i got an 05 1500 4x4 hemi and i put 35 mickey mtz on it , all i putwas a 4 inch superlift suspension lift clears fine , unless u full crank wheels to left then i got about a 3/8 clearance but easy to fix as for a level kit i had a performance shop measure it and told them i wanted a level kit and no way it wud work with 35 i was told so payed extra for the lift and looks nicer this is 4 to 5.5" heres the link this is t=he kit i got , good luck http://superlift.com/Catalog.asp?P=K375&V=124

It depends on how well you want the 35's to fit and how much articulation you want. Height is only one aspect, width and backspacing would also be an issue. I put a leveling kit on my truck and an add-a-leaf in the back with moto metal 20x10's and Nitto Mudd 35's, and they rub. Looks great standing still, but when turning, even without any suspension travel the tires hit the fender/bumper. I'm also going to be getting the rough country lift, I've read up on it and I feel confident putting it on my truck. The reason for the expense increase between the 5"(rough country) and the 6"(skyjacker, rancho, etc.) are partially because of build quality(completely boxed cross members, etc.) and partially because of the name. Regardless, all those kits come with new steering knuckles which takes care of the IFS/axle joint angle, it shouldn't be much more than stock. Just installing torsion keys does increase your axle angle. I'm also going to put on the 5" lift for now, and then next year sometime through on the body lift for another 3", then I'll need some 37's too
Here's a pic with the 35's and leveling kit, 3" up front, 1.5" out back. I'm ordering my kit on the 1st, we can race to see who gets it done first
