Default Dodge's Cat back exhaust???

Just wondering if anyone is using the Cat back stainless steel dual pipe exhaust that Dodge/Chrysler sells and what your thoughts/opinions are on it? I've seen/heard it on a 6cyl and it sounds really nice...... wondering how it sounds on the Hemi.

If you're looking to have a loud truck, it won't do you any good. It changes the exhaust note for the better, but not drastically. With the silencer gone up front I don't really even hear the exhaust anymore. It was however, very easy to install, the hardest part is getting the old exhaust pieces to loosen up after you get the clamps loose.

Thanks for the quick reply Lonestar. That's exactly the info I was looking for. I have a 1 mth old baby and therefore aren't looking for "loud". Just a bit more growl and the cosmetics of dual pipes out the back. Gonna have the dealership install it for free before I pick up my "new to me" truck.

try magnaflow. This muffler is quiet when cruising but it is loud when it is under full acceleration. It does give real nice sound. Not to forget, it does gives some performance.

Only problem with the magnaflow is..... I'd have to pay for it. lol. I kinda got the dealer to write up the bill of sale which is now with the bank manager.... then called the dealer and said "Hey... I found a truck 2 hrs from here for $1000 cheaper.... throw on cat back dual pipes and we'll call it even!".
