Default Need help with tire size ASAP

I have a 2002 SLT+ with 20" rims, well I just got a flat and needed new tires anyway so I need to know what size tire I will need to make them 33's... I am looking to get Cooper Zeon LTZ's, would I need to go with 305/55/20's?

I know people are going to say use the search but I need to know this right away before the place closes...

275 60 20 is almost 33, 305 55 20 is a bigger tire, but not by much and not worth th e extra money

? you can fit the 33s right now. that's your stock tire size. in fact, you have that on the truck right now!
you can fit 35s with the torsion crank, but you'll get a little bit of rub when you turn the wheel all the way, and won't have much room for off roading. better to stick with 33s

Stock tire size is 275/60/20 as it prob says on your sidewall. This is a 33" tire.
305/55/20 are what you want. They are pricey because it's what everyone wants..lol 305/55/20 is 33.2" tall
275=10.8" wide
305=12" wide Very noticeable width diff when they are mounted on your truck.

305 is the width not the height. 305/50 is shorter than stock. 305/55 is taller than stock. the 50/55 is the height ratio.

305/55 won't rub but the 275/60's will be much cheaper. Treaddepot has the best LTZ prices $165 per tire shipped. I wouldn't buy them local because they will prob cost much more and then you'll have to pay tax on that amount as well. Have them shipped. It will take like 3 days and no tax. Mount/balance will cost like $75. Total of like $725'ish out the door if you order them. Local place could only do $1300....F-that!
