Investing In an intake for my 06 megacab thinking of a true flow intake uses a foam filter and produces like 29 hp but I'm not really to sure about using a foam filter anyone using one of these kits or have any suggestions on this or any other one thanks

get a ebay kit, put a high dollar cone filter on the end and call it a day, unless you get a bfi there all the same

As long as the foam is thick enough it should filter well, at least an inch thick like in their demo video should do well. I have a true flow filter on my spectre intake and plan on getting a used oil analysis to check it's dirt stopping ability. S&B tested a true flow filter made for a diesel on there site http://thetruthaboutfilters.com/ and it did poorly, but I believe it was b/c the foam wasn't thick enough in that case. There are tests for all the major brand filters on S&B's site so check them out.

Get one of the two top intakes, or don't waste your money.
