Just installed 5" RC lift and when I take off from dead stop I get a clunking noise!

Welcome to the forums! Be a little more specific. Where abouts is the noise coming from and first off, what year ram you got? 2wd or 4wd?

Its a 2007 2500 megacab 4X4. The noise is hard to locate. Almost feels like something is sliding. Thought I might not have the u-bolts tight enough on the rear axle. Tightened them and still does it.

Bad shocks? Other than that, I don't know. Welcome to DF, though!

Crawled underneath with rear tires off ground! Appears that the noise may be from the drive shaft. U-joints are all tight, just appears to be some slack in the rear drive shaft. The yoke slid out about 2 inches when I installed the lift. Dont know if that is causing the slack or not. The 4" blocks were angled to allow for driveshaft angle.

Dont some people have this problem sometimes with leveling the front with coil sapcers? If so, could it be related?
