I went up north camping this last week, it was the most I have hauled with my truck, and it handeled it pretty well, on the way up I had 2 rows of wood in the back, and a bunch of camping stuff in the bed and a 20 foot bass boat. I tried running it with overdrive on (i dont have tow mode) but it would downshift every now and then so I turned od off. With od off I got 9.8 mpg at 70-75. On the way home I ran with overdrive on and got 11.1 at 75-80. I'm pretty sure I could have run with od on on the way up if I babied it on hills.
While I was up there, I found some logging roads with some mud and some big, steep hills, and I went down on some beaches and played in the lakes and sand. I'd say it went pretty good with the cooper h/t's.
