Debadged looks like a repainted wreck that didn't get new emblems to me. Some people like it, personally, I don't. But I know that everybody has different taste and I respect that. Nothing against the guys/gals who do, just my personal opinion.

Lol, you sound just like my dad. He used to pick fun of my brother's truck when he started exchanging the amber roof lights with black ones...he would say it looks like a vehicle that just got painted and the painters forgot to take the tape off around the roof lights.

I like the idea of an earlier post and maybe look into the 07-08 RAM for the doors. Much smaller than the RAM 1500. Just something to break up the paint a little bit.

For whatever reason I'm having a hard time becoming partial to the new Ram emblems, something just seems to hit me different about them. Really what I would like to see is a 2005 Ram like mine with the new Ram emblems on them. Idk, maybe I just feel weird having newer emblems on a truck that didn't come up with them.

05: i think you should just save your money and buy some black 20s you should be able to get them cheap and you already have tires. but yea your emblems will look good on there. i would only do the ram 1500s on the door if it were me but... my first option woul dbe the blacked out look. no badges & black rims...

I wouldn't mind a set of black rims either, but it's just really not in my budget. Besides, I like the look of maintaining a truck, in 5 years when the truck is 10 years old, it's truly going to be a gem from the 3rd generation pack. I think by putting the chrome badges back on the truck, it will relieve any pressure of having chrome wheels with the truck. As it stands now, the chrome wheels look kind of alone, and it makes the black rim case hold a lot of water lol.

You don't like the 07-08 RAM door emblems?

I seen a Ram the other day that was rebadged and the guy had someone air brush all the emblems back on.He also had "Dodge" painted across his tailgate. It was perfect. The truck just looked amazing. If i could find someone i could trust enough to paint everything i would do it in a heart beat.I wish i had taken some pics but with old age comes memory loss, lol

If you are going to stick to the chrome rims then you should put some badges on there. At the moment it just looks like the rims don't go with the rest of the truck. You need something to carry the chrome from the wheels up to the body of the truck.
