I have a 02 quad cab 5.9. I am smelling gas from under the truck. I have checked the evap lines, and fuel lines they are all tight and dry. The only spot I have noticed a possible problem is on the connection where the fuel pump connects to the fuel line. It seems that there is a little bit of fuel in that area, just enough to make your finger a little wet when you touch it. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem. I wwas wondering if it could be the o-ring in the line or has anyone heard of the fuel pump nipple loosening up and coming undone

Not sure, but it sounds like a fire hazard to me. Don't want it to start spraying and hitting the exhaust!! I haven't had to work on mine yet, so I honestly haven't even looked at the fuel line set-up on the Dodge.
