I'm guessing there is a wire melted to your headers somewhere, almost the same thing happened to me after putting headers on a 94 chevy I used to have. I had an MSD ignition and MSD wires one of which melted to my headers and my truck started bucking and stuttering then it died, dash lit up like a christmas tree! Replaced the wire and shielded them all from heat really well and I had no more problems.

it a 05 ram daytona 5.7. and when it has the engine codes it idles rough and around 1500 rpm and i dont have any control of the gas pedal. but if i clear the codes it will run fine for about a minute as if there wasnt a problem but the codes pop back up and runs like crap. maybe it could be the headers melted some wires but not sure cus i dont see why it would run perfectly fine all day and all of a sudden get a problem. any other suggestions?

It only takes a minute or two for headers to get hot enough to melt wires again.
