Default Questions about 2006 Ram 1500 V6

I am looking at buying a 06 1500 V6, but I have a few questions for you guys. I currently own a 00 Ram, so I am not new to the Dodge scene.

Do the 06's have the dash cracking problems like the earlier models?

And do they still have the same tranny problems as the earlier models?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. THanks

I imagine the dash will probably still crack in the 06's as there are a few 3rd gen guys on here w/ cracked dashboards. I don't know about the tranny problems, maybe someone else can help you w/ that one. Most of the guys on here are gonna say get the v8 b/c w/ the v6 it will always feel underpowered.

V6 in the Dakota is...adequate. I can't imagine driving a V6 Ram.

Surprisingly, that motor works when it is needed. I tow cars and do scrap metal with mine, and it LOVES it!
