Default lifting the rear

I plan on putting some two inch lift blocks in the rear and was wondering if I will need new shocks immediately or will the stock ones suffice for a little while? I have a shock extender in the front and I plan on replacing the front and the back at the same time but not right now.

You can go without longer shocks. I did 3" lift shackles and still usee the OEMs for now.

Yes my shackles are longer with about 3 different holes I can use to lift at different hieghts. I can go anywhere from stock to 1-2-3". They came with the kit I bought but you can buy them on ebay.
