I usually average 20. I got 25 going to and from Abilene TX from Dallas (About a 390 mile round trip on some good year 265/65/18s). I just got some new LT tires (275/65/18), and I noticed that I lost about 15% of my city mileage, but my freeway mileage went through the roof! I also noticed a 20% drop in mileage while towing. I normally got 15-18 mpg while towing anything of any weight, but now it's down to 12-15. Do you guys notice the motor sputter every now and again at a stop light? I thing that my ECU is limited at 20MPG average. I notice immediate power gains from a tank of premium gas, but by the time I burn an 8th, it feels normal again after a stop. It's my hypothesis that the ECU will change the fuel map after you stop the truck.

I haven't been on any long road trips in my truck and the best I've gotten is 19.6 mpg w/ mixed city and highway driving. My truck does seem to have rough point in the idle or sputter like what you mention. I have also felt the sensation of more power after a fill up, but I just though it was the placebo effect.

Dude, with an empty truck going to Abilene TX from Dallas (about 400 round trip), I got a solid 25MPG. And I just got back from towing a car from MO through the hilly parts of OK and got 12(this is all before the power wire). I think that the question now is "what is right with my truck?"
