Default Stereo cutting out

On rare occasion, my stereo will cut out, like it's losing all power. No clock, no nothing. When it does this, the remote keyless entry also doesn't work. This is an intermittent problem, and I looked at the fuse diagram and keyless remote is not listed.

Does the keyless run through the head unit?

The power locks work fine from the door switches, but when the radio dies, so does the keyless capability.

Any ideas?

Thanks, but this is more than an audio problem.
