glad to see you finally got it in there. i'd like to see you back on the dyno to see what it did to your efficiency too. aside from the stall you're probably getting more hp to the wheels also.

Just going by feel and 0-60 times this afternoon, I'd definitely say there is power at the wheels now than what there was before. It is pulling harder, launching harder, shaved a little over 4 tenths of a second off my 0-60 times and to top it off I can now chrip my tires from a 35mph roll, f*cking awesome!!!

One thing I noticed tonight though while I was out getting gas is that at 50mph if I give it a little more gas the partial shifts feel soooooo good and it pulls so nice and so smooth, BUT, if I floor it at 50mph, it bogs down a bit before taking off so I need to do some adjustments to my 2-3 WOT shifts to try and fix that issue.

Just an FYI for you 4x4 guys wanting to do this, my installer was telling me that with a 4x4 there is a lot more that needs to be done to get the trans out to install the converter. With mine (2wd) all that needed to be done was removing the drive shaft, the cross members holding it up, unbolting the trans and all the connectors, and slide it back. With the 4x4, you have to do all of that plus removing the entire exhaust system from the manifold back because the factory Y pipe is either directly under the trans or close enough to it that it need to be removed in order to slide it out enough to do the install. So if you are planning on doing it be aware that there may be more time required to do it.

could still get a good convertor with a stock stall. that's why I want to see a dyno, to see if it's worth it with a stock stall.

Good point. The stock converter is very inefficient and generates a lot of heat. We're probably getting a 5% drivetrain loss right there!

I bet it's a lot more than that. Torque converters are inherantly inefficient, and chrysler's excels. I'd guess you'd IMPROVE 5% going to an aftermarket TQ. That could end up being a 15 WHP bump all the way across the band. Not even just making it feel like its more power like gears do, but actually increasing power, and efficiency.
