Default Shock Replacements

Alright so I am leveling my truck out next week after I order some new shocks and was wondering if there is a DIY for changing out the shocks on the front I am leaving the rear alone for now and I believe I am going to go with either blistein or rancho depending on what some of yall say about either one so info would be great and looking foward to your information and the sooner the better so i can order some shocks

lift truck a little bit and support weight (jack stand), might take the tire off for better access
remove bolt on bottom, remove nut on top, take off old
install dust boot on new and put it in, attach nut to hold it(pull it apart to get it to length)
put on nut, put on bolt

1 hour job total if stuff isn't rusted and/or stuck. Took me 1.5 hours because I had to cut the studs off the top of each shock because the nut was rusted on.

do i need to compress the front springs in order to take it off or will the shock come out fine without compressing the spring and that sounds pretty freakin easy but with my luck i am going to have rusted bolts lol just the way things always seem to go for me

you have torsion bars. no springs anywhere near the shocks=super easy shock install. rears will take even less time. don't need to lift the truck or anything.
