Default Slight Wobble, not death wobble....yet

2004 Ram 1500, 2WD

I have a slight shake in the front end constantly, and I just started feeling a little rubbing(resistance) when I turn to the right, yet I feel nothing when I turn to the left. Running 33PSI, and had tires rotated, balanced and still there. Any suggestions?

any help would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. I am stationed in Germany so I am learning first hand how to do this stuff by myself due to everything being HELLA expensive here and not many people around here willing, or knowledgeable, to work on my truck.

Thank You

Default Lots of things to check

There are a lot of steering components to look at and test. Fist of all is your track bar. It's the big metal bar that keeps your axle stationary. Next look at tie rods and ball joints. You can check tie rods by looking at the bushings while someone turns the wheel with the truck off if there is any movement in the bushing then it's faulty. You can check your ball joints by jacking up your truck and putting your hands on the 12 and 6 positions and trying to wiggle the tire. If there's a good bit of movement or a clanking then your ball joints are bad.

This thread is from august of 2009...... Nine years ago. I really don't think this guy is going to be back for the answer.....

Also, his truck is 2wd, so, no track bar on his.
