Cold Air Intakes
there you go..guys who tell you not to waste your money cuz they didn't waste theirs on more expensive cai's. The question you have to ask yourself, how fast do you want to go? It's all personal preference... I went the ebay route (mopar clone) early on and it definitely helped me get my na hemi qc into the 13's ... as I modded more I knew my cai had to grow with the other mods I installed... so I did spend the $350+ and it got me an intake that helped me run 13.1's and knockin on the door of the 12 second barrier (a barrier no na stockblock qc has attained...yet)... and it makes for one hell of a street drivin machine... the thing is, don't take the 'don't waste your money' attitude (well, unless it's a tb spacer)... why not, do this...AND this...not OR this...

No not really.
Hemi Hat as we refer to it as, is the large black plastic cover over the T/B that says HEMI. Thus, Hemi hat! It has a few openings on the outside and that's it. there are no restrictions. I swapped for the airraid tube and noticed squat. Nothing but looks bro.
Unless you've got Forced induction or a show ride....BFI is a waste of $$$$.
2. The BFI isn't just a tube the air flows through like 99% of intakes.
The way it's setup, larger diameter to small diameter, the BFI basically forces air into the engine from the differences in air pressure. This gives it better performance gain over other intakes.
Yay 10th grade physics!
I'd also rather pay $400 for a work of art than $50 for toilet plumbing...

1. How can you set up a forced induction and a BFI?
