Default Gap Gaurds Buy them or make them????

anyone whose bought gap gaurds are they anything more thank precut pieces of rubber or are they worth buying

like if i can just fab some of my own and save the 80 bucks i will

couldnt be too hard, i would make my own and use the $80 for gas and beer!

For the same amount, you could buy wheel well liners. They cover the whole wheel well and look way better.

are they just for the rear like right now my truck has front liners but they are now showing the engine and the rear has non. ive seen wheel well liners but i think ive only seen rear ones

Thats funny. I usually only see the rear ones. The only ones i have seen for the front were just add ons to the original ones. They just clip on or something. Did you just get a body lift?

the gap guards I got were for back and front, and if I had to do it again i would make my own.

How would you make it? I dont what I could use to mold all the way around the wheel well.

I bought the first set I had the first time I ever did a body lift. Saw what they were and made my own ever since. Some nice heavy rubber mat material works great.

How about using Bedliner mat. That stuff is like 1/4" rubber.
