I'm due for new tires and figure it's time for wheels. I have a 04' 2500 QC. The rims I like are the american racing chambers. They are 17x9 and have 4.5 backspacing. My question is, should I go with a 305/65/17 or stay with my size now, 285/70/17. I don't want any rubbing. I do have the O.E style fender flares, I just want the tires to be flush with the flares, they are an inch inside now. Sorry for the stupid question, I'm still learning all the technical stuff with rims and tires. What do you guys think of the Goodyear wrangler duratrac. Thanks.

 

the duratracks look pretty meaty, never used them. i would go for the bigger tires!
