Default 1500 Mega Cab Towing Capacity

I have got a 07 1500 mega cab 4x4 with the Hemi and am trying to find out what the true and realistic towing capacity is. Looking for some weights that some of you are towing specifically tow haulers. And are you using helper springs.
Thanks

Does it have 3.73 or 4.10 gears?

I have a 1500 maga cab 2wd (2500 frame, with one less leaf spring) with 3.73 gears and I once towed an empty 7500 gross weight travel trailer. The truck didnt sagg in the rear, it just leveled out, it felt fine. The only thing is the hemi, I think that the hemi needs to be beefed up before you attempt to tow something really heavy. I probablly would not go over a max weight of about 8000 lbs. Just my opinon. if I had somthing that heavy with the hemi and I was going up a steap hill im sure my heart would be pounding probably getting passed by diesels and for sure my RPMs sky rocketing, going super slow. Beef up the hemi and you should be good. You are way better off than a 1500 quad cab with a hemi. Your truck is more on the eight lug HD side, dont forget that..

When You say beef it up what do you mean? I have an exhaust on it and thought about a cold air intake but want else do you recommend.
