Default This is real!!!!

I finnally got the ol wifey to let me spend some money on my heavy 08 maga cab with a hemi in it. Me personally, I think the 3/4 ton maga cab is to darn heavy for that hemi. So now its time to beef her up a little. I kinda lied and told her we can get way better gas mileage if we get some upgraded parts. To me im thinking more horse power, but to her shes thinking our maga cab is gonna turn into a gas saving honda. Anyway, I want to get the most horse power for my buck. I cant spend too much money, actully im on a buget. Im thinking i can afford some decent headers (maybe mopar), and a cold air intake. What should I get? any advice would help.

CAI, Headers and a Programmer = Better Mileage and more power, so you're not lying to her at all.

your main mods to start out with are usually always intake, exhaust, and a programmer. then, once you do that and still want more, you can go for headers, e-fan, cam, dyno tune, etc, etc.

you can find tons of info, and what everyones favorite brands are right on the top of this forum in the 3rd gen ram faqs.

The maga cab does have its fair share of power and no my maga cab isnt screwed up. Ive been in few different trucks to know what real power is, weather its a gas or a diesel. I have 6 brothers and we all have trucks, mine is the newest of the bunch 08 maga cab with the hemi. Ive squared it up with many trucks in all areas, I know what the results are. Ive placed my truck on a dino I know how much power I loose at the wheels from the engine. I love my dodge dont get me wrong but have you ever tried pulling anything heavy yet? Your RPMs will be everywhere. The truck itself handles it but the hemi has to really work overtime. My truck to this date has 25,000 miles on it and runs great. Its just a heavy truck. My boss has a maga cab 6.7 diesel and holy smokes when I drove his truck I was jealous because that cummins handles the **** out of that maga cabmuch different then the hemi. I know its a diesel and ours our gas engines and yes I know the difference. I chose the hemi maga cab because I got it for $19,500 out the door with 4 miles on it brand spankin new, they wanted $32,000 for the same truck in a 5.9 diesel. I guess people have different opinions on what power is, mine is that the maga cab is alot of truck for that hemi. Yes it does show off nice on the street or in the desert with an empty load, but try moving a packed toy hauler with six people inside and a full bed and boy you will know right away that you are not in a diesel. I wish I would of got a white one like yours, that white sure looks pretty. I have a silver one, I told myself I would never own a silver car or truck but it was the one at the dealer that they were willing to give me that deal on. I love when I drive around and wifes of guys with quad cabs cant stop looking at the massive cabin size of my maga cab. If you drop the back seat and place an uninflaited matress down then start to pump it up you got your self a sweet sleeping area. Im sure lots of chicks have gottin lucky in the back seats of the MAGA CAB.
