"TMR" MOD Equivilant on 2004?!
since you have an 04, I don't think the diablosport predator can do anything for you as far as trans tweaking.
if you just want some improvement on the torque management, go grab a sueprchips 3815. They are going new for about $200 now since the new trans stuff will be 3865 or cortex only.
if you really want the new trans stuff, SC 3865 is the only way to go, and even then I'm not sure it's available on the 4.7.

If you are going with a new cam, unless it is a very mild cam, you need to be able to custom tune it and Superchips does not and will not support that. Their tuner is great for the lightly modded vehicles but when it comes to heavily modded vehicles that need to be tuned they take a nose dive.
You may be able to do a piggy back setup for the tuning and still keep the Superchips in there but I dont know how well that would work.
Another option if you are just looking for better shifts, rebuild the transmission. Throw on a new shift kit, reprogram kit, valve body, and converter. Then go get the SCT for the cam and dyno tune it. An actual dyno tune will get you more gains than any canned tune like superchips or diablo has to offer which is why as soon as I get my cam and remaining parts in I will be having mine dyno tuned to make the most out of my parts.

Nope, I'm in the same boat, and I have a custom ground cam in the garage waiting for a solution.
Diablo nor SCT do transmission tuning on the '04s. So only the Superchips offers it for us. But SC does not nor will never offer custom tunes.
You cannot have 2 tunes at the same time!
Your only viable alternative is to run the Superchips tune with a piggyback controller for the cam like a PSC-1...

okay....but you just said you can't have two tunes at the same time. how would haveing a contoller be different? can you elaborate a bit?
A tuner re-writes the tune on the PCM. The Cam Tuner is not a PCM re-flash solution. It is an embedded control solution that works seamlessly with the stock PCM.
good to know... so if i bought the superchips programmer i'd still be able to utilize the cam tuner as well? If so then that works out perfectly.
