I get about 10Mpg city commuting. 17-20 on the freeway. 10Mpg towing. ('08 2500 4x4 QC with auto trans).

Considering that my 3/4 ton '76 Chevy 4x4 and '76 Dodge 4x4 got 10-12Mpg on the freeway, I'm pretty happy. Smaller engine, more horses, more torque, and better mileage. Technology can be impressive at times.

WOW, too many big words, head is hurting.....2 1/4" duals with headers has always worked amazing for me on Chevy 350s and the Hemi. No bigger than that or it's just a waste: you get no or negative back pressure, funny sounding exhaust, and a huge bill for exhaust tubing thats big.

Anyways, thanks for the input. Relieved to hear that mine doesn't have MDS, sounds like more expensive parts to break. Any of you guys have headers on a newer Ram 2500? I can only find BBK brand ones. What's the deal with no other options from the big names? Is 2008 too new still?
