Default 2007 Ram 1500 vs 2003 Sierra 1500

I was wondering guys i have a 2007 dodge ram 1500 big horn with a 5.7 hemi and i had it super chipped with a 77 series k/n intake and i smoked this GMC bad by like 5 or 6 car lenghts and he has a air aid intake and throttle body spacer with dual exhaust and mass air flow sensor with a super chip.. Now that i put a true dual exhaust with 40 flow masters and a throttle body spacer and replaced my stock 20's with 22's i smock him on the start then he pulls on me at around 60 and stays on my *** then almost starts to pull on me the faster we go. Whats the deal? Any info would be most helpful. Ram all the way********** O yea i have new pics post them later tonight.

most guys on here say flowmasters, as good as they may sound, actually restrict exhaust flow, also those 22's are probably heavier than what you had before, and finally, that throttle body spacer is doing nothing and may be hurting performance... get rid of it!
was the gmc a 5.3?
i would think you should still smoke it
also, what tune are you running on the sc?

I have the sc at 91oc. and the rims are actually a lil lighter than my stock 20's. the tires are a inch smaller than the last set i had on the stocks. My truck has all the torque i need to get of the line faster than his and at any mph roll my truck dusts him but not like it did. And i think if i go long enought he will get me i think!!! The only thing i can think is that he did something else to his truck and not tell me. And its a 5.3 And this guy is a one of those cocky guys that thinks his **** is better than everyone elses even if i win he says he wins.. We are going to the drags here in a couple of weeks so i wanna get my truck down good. Also what will a dyno tune do to my truck??

Dont under estimate those 5.3s.......they can be very fast and they pull very good on top end.

Obviously, the performance changes you made suck (no offense).

22s are the worst thing you can do for performance.

Lose the TB spacer immediately, even if you disagree with everything else I say. Our engines are direct port injected. There is no need to "swirl" the air or any other nonsense before it goes in the manifold.

True dual exhaust usually sucks unless your truck needs the extra air. Did you put in a cam or something? Is the exhaust balanced with an x/h pipe? What diameter pipe did you use? Too many variables to screw up. That's why "true duals" usually suck.

Slowmaster mufflers. Switch to some magnaflows. We could give you a lecture on why they suck, but you could just as easily spend a day reading about it with a simple search.

If your truck lost performance with the mods, than the mods caused it.

Yea, if he was, he would have gotten past you much much quicker.
A dyno would do nothing for your truck, except let you know just how much power you are putting to the ground.

Default Mods

The 22's seem lighter than the stock 20's. Could that still be an issue?
Ill lose the TB spacer at once. My exhaust is straight back from both sides of the engine. My right muffler sounds a lil diffrent in a bad way thab the left any ideas? and its a 3" pipe with 12" Long 4" wide tips.

What about putting on some Cherry Bomb Glass Packs will that be better?

I thought the mods would make it faster but i guess not. With the mods it gives more kick and it performs with more power but that other truck kept up with me. Maybe he had some new stuff and didnt tell me. ???????

Any ideas to up my performance inexpensilely???
